What’s up! Let me introduce myself. My name is Ari. I hail from Stockton, California. I was born in Thailand, lived in the Philipines for a year, then immigrated to the US where my family and I first landed in San Francisco. My favorite color is brown. I’m a Virgo. I like long walks on the beach. LOL, jk!
I have been shooting since high school (about 6 years ago), but I started to get serious about my photography in 2006. I started out doing events and portraits but eventually, I found a love for wedding photography.
Some random facts about myself:
I have an obsession with hats. I love em’! I have a pretty nice collection of different hats. I especially like that paper boy hat that Common and Neyo sports. For the record, I was rockin these hats way before Neyo.
Favorite music:
I’m more of a slow jam/R&B type of guy, but I listen to everything that’s good to my ears. On my iPod, I have everything from John Legend to Mana (Mexican rockband) to Jay Chou (Chinese pop singer). When I say everything, I mean everything.
Favorite food:
I love food, especially noodles. Anything noodles, the chances are, I’ll like it. Too bad I can’t eat much in one sitting! I’m an All You Can Eat fail. Although I love going for some AYCE Korean BBQ!
I plan to use this blog as a way for past clients to always have a place to drop by to say hi and for future clients to become more acquainted with me. I will be posting often, so don’t be afraid to leave a comment or say hi! I’m also on Facebook so any previous, current, or potential clients can use that outlet to keep in contact with me as well.

Q. My wedding is out of California, can you still be my photographer?
A. Heck yes! I’m always open for destination weddings. The farther the better.
Q. My wedding venue requires my venders to have insurance, are you covered?
A. Yes. I have insurance which covers me up to 1 million dollars. Please let me know if your venue requires proof of insurance so that I may prepare it for you.
Q. How many photos do you usually take during a photo session?
A.For a wedding: Depending on the number of hours you have me at your wedding, I average about 700-1,500 images per wedding.
For a portrait session: Each session is unique with each shoot. I shoot until I feel that I have the images that I want. After the shoot, you will be presented with about 40-60 images to choose from.
Q. What is the turnaround time?
A. My average turnaround time for a wedding is about 3-6 months after your wedding.
Q. What kind of equipment do you have?
A. To be honest, you don’t really need expensive equipment to take amazing photos…but they do help.
