I photographed Melanie and Lawrence’s engagement a while back in L.A. (View a sample engagement book from their session here.) I love how this couple just falls into place when I was taking their portraits. Their wedding day in Palo Alto also fell into place perfectly. Everything from the schedule to the weather was just perfect. All the elements of a great wedding was in play for this wedding, especially the raw emotions displayed though out the day. It was a photographer’s gold mine. Special thank you to Samuel and Quan for coming out to help me with this wedding.

This wedding took place in the Falkner Winery in Temecula, Ca. I had a great time going out to hang out with my good friend Conrad Lim in L.A before helping him photograph this amazing wedding in Temecula. The last time I went to Temecula was for my girlfriend’s birthday when we went wine tasting. Unfortunately, this time around I didn’t get to drink anything. A good thing if I wanted good wedding photos.A very emotional first glance where the bride and groom meet for the first time on their wedding day. I love it when couples are able to express their affection to each other! It makes for some amazing photos. 
I usually don’t post detail photos on my blog because I think photos of moments have more impact. But I just had to post this photo of the Coca-Cola wedding table name placement because since I’ve moved to San Luis Obispo, I’ve been drinking nothing but Coke. I just thought it was funny.
