My -tu and Alex came all the way down from the bay area to SLO with their five little monsters.

My friends Henry and Philina came down from San Jose to Pismo Beach to go ATV’ing with me. We ended up walking around Pismo Beach and I snapped this photo of them with my iPhone 4s. I’m blown away by how far camera phones have come.

Engagement sessions or pre-wedding sessions have really allowed to me push myself creatively in 2011.  Each sessions with my couples not only give me the opportunity to get to know them but it makes me challenge myself to creating portraits that are different and exciting all the while capturing the couple’s personalities and love.

Happy new year everyone! This is my first session for the new year! We shot Kevin and Soo Youn’s engagement session in San Francisco on the first day of 2012. Kevin met Soo Youn while based in South Korea with the Army. Now they’re getting ready to get married in Korea! Soo Youn flew all the way down from Korea to spend time with Kevin and his family for the holidays and the new year. I’m super excited to be heading to South Korea later this year to document their wedding day! Destination wedding here I come! Here are a few of my favorite frames from the engagement session.
