I am very glad I crossed paths with La. Her contribution to the Lao community has been an inspiration for me and many other Laotians around the world. I first met La a couple years ago when she invited me to photograph and showcase <a title=\"Jai Lao Foundation Laotian Food Calendar || San Ramon, Ca\" href=\"http:\/\/justari.com\/laotian-wedding-photographer-jai-lao-foundation-laotian-food-calendar-san-ramon-ca\/\">Laotian cuisine<\/a> to fundraise for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jailao.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jai Lao foundation<\/a>. The photos were turned into calendars, which proceeds helped contribute to noble causes like build schools in Laos and a college scholarship for Laotian Americans. I\u2019m honored to be friends with this woman who is so generous and caring.
