When brides do begin their search for the perfect wedding dress, the Vera Wang wedding dresses is what people are searching for. As a wedding photographer, I love photographing brides in these beautiful dresses. You can’t go wrong with a Vera Wang wedding dress!
Aside from the photographing these Vera Wang wedding dresses during weddings, I really didn’t know too much about the brand. I would hear the name Vera Wang thrown around everywhere in not just the wedding industry but in the fashion industry as well. I even found out that Vera Wang had her own mattresses, eyewear, fragrances, candles, and even flowers. So naturally, as a person of the industry, I became more interested in the Vera Wang brand, especially the Vera Wang wedding dresses.
As I did my research on “Vera Wang wedding dresses”, I found out some pretty interesting things about the brand and about the founder, Vera Wang. As a former Asian American studies student at the University of California at Davis, the fact that Vera Wang is an Asian American caught my attention. It’s not very often that you see a successful Asian American person with a brand that sets the trends not only in the wedding dress industry, but in the fashion industry as well.
Vera Wang has made wedding gowns for celebrities such as Alyssa Milano, Mariah Carey, Sophia Bush, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Ivanka Trump,Thalía, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff, Avril Lavigne, Chelsea Clinton, Victoria Beckham, and Jennifer Garner only to name a few.
Vera Wang use to be a senior fashion editor for Vogue magazine. After that she teamed up with Ralph Lauren as the design director and then opened up her own design salon in New York. Her New York design salon was where she featured her famous Vera Wang wedding dresses. The Vera Wang wedding dresses started to become featured in pop culture such as in shows like Sex and the City, Bride Wars, and The West Wing.
